The resident had no idea who the name on the packages was and was concerned enough to call police, according to Hazlet Detective Lt. Ted Wittke.</span></div><div><span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);"><br></span></div><div><span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">Officers left with several boxes and opened them in order to find a packing list which would contain information on the intended recipient, according to police. Instead, they found 31 sealed bags of marijuana weighing a total of 50 pounds.</span></div><div><span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);"><br></span></div><div><span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">"Whoever packaged these definitely took quite a bit of time and energy to mask anything that was detectable," Wittke said.</span></div><div><span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);"><br></span></div><div><span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">The street value of this seizure could be up to $100,000, depending on how potent the particular strain of marijuana is, according to Wittke..</span></div><div><span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);"><br></span></div><div><span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">Wittke said police were releasing no more details to both protect the homeowner and the investigation.
