</span></b><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"">Calling all painters! The City of Moscow and the Moscow Arts Commission invite you to participate in the fifth annual Palouse Plein Air 2014.<b><o:p></o:p></b></span></p>

<p class="Default"><i><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:windowtext">What is Plien Air?<o:p></o:p></span></i></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height:12.05pt;text-autospace:none">French for “in the open air” used to describe the act of painting outdoors. Plein air competitions are all about painting outdoors in a specific area or region and then having those paintings
exhibited in an art gallery.<b><o:p></o:p></b></p>

<p class="Default"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:windowtext">The 8 day painting competition begins September 10, 2014 and runs through September 19, 2014!

<p class="Default"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:windowtext"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="Default"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:windowtext">The competition is open to artists 18 years or older. All painting mediums are welcome!

<p class="Default"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:windowtext">The $20 entrance fee per participant includes: registration in the competition, an invitation to the Artist Reception and Awards Ceremony on September 19,
and an invitation to the Quick Draw at the Moscow Farmers Market.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="Default"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:windowtext">On September 19, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., participants are to deliver a maximum of 3 finished entries framed and ready to hang to the Third Street
Gallery. The Gallery is located in Moscow City Hall (206 East Third). The judging will take place from 12:000 – 4:30 p.m.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="Default"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:windowtext">On September 19, 2014 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. an artist reception and awards ceremony will be held at the Third Street Gallery. The event is free and open to
