<p>The U.S. jobs recovery continued in June: 288,000 jobs were added and the unemployment rate fell to 6.1% from 6.3% in May. <br>

The job gains were "widespread," the Labor Department said today. The results provide more evidence that the recovery has gained momentum in recent months.<br>
