</b>The City of Moscow, the Moscow Arts Commission, and Broadsided Press are excited to be co-sponsoring the second annual Broadsides on the Bus at the Intermodal Transit Center and on the City transit buses. From June 9th-23rd, visit
the Intermodal Transit Center and ride the buses to see broadsides of visual art and poetry by local and national artists. And join us for the opening reception at the Intermodal Transit Center from 3-4 p.m. on Artwalk (June 13th), which will also
celebrate this year’s new sculptures at the Intermodal Transit Center sculpture garden.

<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">This year, Broadsides on the Bus will feature four new broadsides that pair work by eight local visual artists and poets: George Wray’s “The Swimmer” with Ron McFarland’s “The Lover of Lakes”; Nelson Duran’s “Love Elida” with David Thacker’s
“Sleeping Late in a Duplex in Moscow, Idaho”; Lynne Haagensen’s “Moving On” with Warren Bromley-Vogel’s “Poem”; and Valerie Boydo’s “Coyote Dreams” with Alexandra Teague’s “Coyotes.” These local artists and writers originally created these works as part of
this year’s Ecology of Desire Creative Currents project in which—like an artistic game of telephone—each artist created a piece based off the piece created before them. The new broadsides that combine these works are being designed by local designer and MAC
member Mario Montes. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The exhibit at the Intermodal Transit Center will feature the bus broadsides, as well as an array of other broadsides from Broadsided Press, a national journal that publishes one monthly visual-art-and-poetry broadside that can be downloaded
for free, printed, and posted. Broadsided and MAC are pleased to again be taking art into the community and onto the bus!
