<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">I wanted to clarify the status of the Conditional Use Permit for a drive-through at 525 S. Jackson Street. The public hearing for the CUP was cancelled at the request of the applicant. The applicant provided
a site plan for the proposed use with a curb cut located 30 feet from the intersection of Jackson and 6<sup>th</sup> Street. Due to public safety concerns and potential for impacts to the safe and efficient operation of the Jackson and 6<sup>th</sup> Street
intersection, the City of Moscow Engineering department is not in a position to approve vehicle access to the site as it was proposed. Therefore, the applicant chose to cancel the hearing in order to prepare a site plan that can be approved by the City Engineering
department, prior to requesting approval for a drive-through at this location. <o:p>
