<span>THE ADDRESS showcases the Greenwood School in Putney, Vermont, where students grappling with an array of learning challenges use Lincoln's famous speech as a tool for success. Each student is tasked with memorizing the 10-sentence masterpiece. As a culmination of their efforts, the students recite it in front of classmates, teachers and special guests -- an accomplishment that is "a minefield of terrors and anxieties for these boys," says Burns.<br>
<br> As Burns documents the students' efforts, he reveals the history, context and importance of what is regarded as one of the greatest speeches in U.S. history.<br> <br> "This is a story of an amazing school and these boys, who you will fall in love with," says Burns. "But it's also about our connection with our past. And we don't memorize stuff anymore, and we should."</span><br>
