remembering Dr. King, the images that come to mind are the
larger-than-life historic ones -- like his speech at the Lincoln
Memorial. But Dr. King was just a man, who was -- at his core -- an
organizer. An organizer of regular folks, seeking equality and
economic opportunity. A man who spent his days trying to figure out
how to make life better for everyone.</SPAN></DIV>

his last years, he turned his attention to economic opportunity for
all working Americans. <STRONG>Dr. King campaigned for a strong
minimum wage, for better educational opportunity, for affordable
health care, and much more.</STRONG></SPAN></DIV>

need economic policies that reward work, that make family-wage jobs
possible in every corner of the country – especially here in our

need a health care policy, an immigration policy, an education
policy, a veterans’ policy, a trade policy, and a tax policy that
brings people together, builds the great American middle class, and

we have a Congress that is mired in partisan bickering and extreme
ideology designed to divide Americans and ensure that the special
interests maintain their stranglehold on our democracy.

a teacher, an organizer, a public servant, and a proud Idahoan.
