in the HVAC shop (they always had a local radio station on their shop radio)
announcing that a commercial jet had crashed into the World Trade Center in New

days before my 3rd birthday. I don't remember the assassination, but I
do remember the countless stories from my chrono-peers who all thought
that they did. It was my first lesson on the inaccuracy of human memory.
