<p class="Default"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"">Calling all painters! The City of Moscow and the Moscow Arts Commission invite you to participate in the fourth annual Palouse Plein Air 2013.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="Default"><i><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:windowtext">What is Plien Air?<o:p></o:p></span></i></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height:12.05pt;text-autospace:none">French for “in the open air” used to describe the act of painting outdoors. Plein air competitions are all about painting outdoors in a specific area or region and then having those paintings
exhibited in an art gallery.<b><o:p></o:p></b></p>
<p class="Default"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:windowtext"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="Default"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:windowtext">The 8 day painting competition begins September 13, 2013 and runs through September 20, 2013!

<p class="Default"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:windowtext"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="Default"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:windowtext">The competition is open to artists 18 years or older. All painting mediums are welcome!

<p class="Default"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:windowtext">The $20 entrance fee per participant includes: registration in the competition, an invitation to the Artist Reception and Awards Ceremony on September 20,
and an invitation to the Quick Draw at the Moscow Farmers Market.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="Default"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:windowtext">On September 20, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. to noon, participants are to deliver a maximum of 3 finished entries framed and ready to hang to the Third Street Gallery.
The Gallery is located in Moscow City Hall (206 E. Third). The judging will take place from noon to 4:30 p.m.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
