</b>The 2013 Moscow Independence Day Celebration will be hosted by Mayor Nancy Chaney and former Councilmember Linda Pall in Friendship Square in downtown Moscow on July 4, 2013 at 12 noon. Also attending the festivities is University of Idaho Interim-President
Don Burnett. This event is free and open to the public.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify">The celebration will include a welcome message by Chaney, the Pledge of Allegiance, the singing of “The Star Spangled Banner,” a reading of the Declaration of Independence, the annual Mutt Strut competition, and
the singing of “This Land is Your Land”. Free ice cream bars will be provided by the City of Moscow.<o:p></o:p></p>
