                           <h2>The Dow rose to a fresh trading high Wednesday, ahead of the latest statement from the Federal Reserve.</h2>
                                        
                           <p>
                                The <a href="http://money.cnn.com/data/markets/dow/">Dow Jones industrial average</a>
 was up 0.4% to 14,512 in midday trading. Earlier, the index rose to a 
new intraday record high of 14,545. The Dow recently hit a string of 
record highs in its longest winning streak since 1996. The <a href="http://money.cnn.com/data/markets/sandp/">S&P 500</a> and the <a href="http://money.cnn.com/data/markets/nasdaq/">Nasdaq</a> both rose about 0.4%.
