I imagine these people with million dollar homes have a difficult time keeping them when their salaries are slashed in half. I try to tell people to live on only 2/3 your take home pay. That way for every two months you work you can be unemployed for one month and still maintain the same lifestyle. Also, buy your stuff, except your house and maybe a car or college education. Don't put it on a credit card and pay interest. Own it 100% or not at all.</SPAN></div>

It is a strange way of classifying an income bracket, and it conveniently eliminates poverty from the Great American Way of Life. But, we have to take this as a possible Freudian slip on Mitt’s part, because of the also-mentioned 200,000 lower limit. It’s actually an inversion of sense. As people have incomes above $250,000 they are part of the increasingly suffering rich. The more they have, the less they are satisfied. So, they think they need more all the time.</SPAN></div>

They may not live in the <SPAN id=misspell-18 class=mark>Hamptons</SPAN>, and I realize they don't make up anywhere near the 47% that Romney quoted, but they do exist.
