As I looked at it, I imagined that the photographer was standing on the south west corner of Washington and 3<sup>rd</sup>. There is just a hint of the roof line of the old federal bldg. which I think was probably build sometime between 1890 and 1905. The wooden Evangelical Mission bldg is sitting, I think, on the south east side of Washington and 3<sup>rd</sup> about where (is it Latah?) Realty is now. The Methodist Church, across from the High School was build in 1904 – 1905. I know someone, a stone mason I think, was killed during the construction.
