<br>As I mentioned, the promulgation of Cultmaster Douglas Wilson's insistent, twisted theology of martial sex has ignited a firestorm.  The posts that I have referred to are from committed Christians, not non-believers.  Some of these writers, like Wilson himself, are on the fringe of the fringe -- the same fringe that Wilson occupies.  I wonder if a vote on the truth and merits of Wilson's barbaric utterances on this subject it would be even more lopsided than the one on his magnum opus <i>Federal Vision</i> -- 1,350 to 50 against -- an eyeopening, humiliating rejection especially since the group that voted was composed of those on the fringe most likely to be in accordance with Wilson's crackpot views.<br>
<br>I am glad this aspect of Wilson's advocacy is out in the open.  I disagree with those Christians who have called for the removal from the internet of the offending material.  The more exposure and discussion of this subject that occurs the greater the chances that egalitarianism and justice will in the long run prevail and both women and men will benefit.  Also, once the crackpotiness of Wilson's other views are widely exposed, discussed, and ridiculed, the better the chances that he will be seen for what he really is -- a crackpot interested in acquiring wealth, power, and control over others lives using religious views and controversy as his hook. <br>
