In the shaded northwest corner of the lobby area, half hidden behind a<br>table with a large empty box, stood the flag of the USA, along side<br>the flag of Idaho.<br> In the front of the large display case more centered to the room, was<br>
the battle flag of the confederacy, splayed out across a shelf and<br>draping down.<br>It was probably the single most prominent item in the lobby of the<br>courthouse, except for possibly the empty box that blocked the other<br>
flags, neither of which were draped out open for prominent display. Of<br>course I understand the importance of learning about history. But…<br>For a courthouse in north Idaho to find it appropriate to display a<br>symbol of traitors MORE prominently than the symbols of this nation we<br>
