There are plenty of trails over 100 acres of mixed ponderosa pine forest and prairie remnants. The prairie is home to some rare species such as Palouse milkvetch, Palouse thistle, and mountain lady slippers. Numerous plants are sure to be in bloom. On Saturday, May 19, meet at Rosauer's parking lot in Moscow, 8:30 a.m., to arrange carpooling. This is planned as a half-day field trip. Bring water and sunscreen.
