</b>The City of Moscow Farmers Market 2012 season begins Saturday, May 5 at 8 a.m. in Friendship Square in downtown Moscow, Idaho. Parking regulations for Market days as well as revised policies for the Farmers Market adopted in early spring of 2012 will be
in effect. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify">The Moscow Police Department would like to remind anyone parking in the South Jackson Parking Lot that they need to have their vehicles moved by 2 a.m., on Saturday mornings or their vehicle will be towed at the
owner’s expense. The South Jackson Lot has signs indicating which areas vehicles need to be moved from for the market. This consists of the first four bays running north to south. The signs used to regulate Market parking read, “NO PARKING; 2 am – 2 pm;
SATURDAYS; VIOLATORS WILL BE TOWED AT OWNER’S EXPENSE; Towing Companies on File at Moscow Police Department Call: 882-COPS”<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify">Policy changes for the Market that will be in effect this coming Saturday includes the prohibition of animals in the Market, with the exception of service animals, as defined in the Americans with Disabilities
Act 2010 final regulations. Dogs, other animals, and pets are not allowed in the Farmers Market.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify">The second notable change in policies is the management of the Speakers Space in Friendship Square, formerly known as the Promoter Wall. Speakers Space, coordinated with the Farmers Market is in the area adjacent
to New Saint Andrews College on the south side of Friendship Square. This space is provided during Market hours, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturdays in May through October, unless specifically authorized in writing by the City Parks and Recreation Director for a
specific planned event or demonstration. Anyone may use the Speakers Space from 12:01 a.m. to 1 p.m. on a Market Saturday. Speakers may not sell anything that is available for purchase in the Market, but may sell or give away promotional items or raffle
or other tickets for future local events. The City will not reserve, regulate, or otherwise monitor use of the space.<o:p></o:p></p>
