<DIV>My memories of drive in movies revolved around seeing how many kids we
could pack in the trunk so they didn’t have to pay the price of a ticket.
The last drive in movie I saw was Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and I
took a group of MHS kids who were in Dallas for a competition...none of them had
ever been to a drive in. They enjoyed the movie, but thought the idea of
an outdoor viewing area was a bit strange. </DIV>

<DIV dir=ltr>Ahhhh, the good old days -- watching a movie in the station wagon,
pillows fluffed up, homemade popcorn, allowed to go out of the house in our
jammies . . . it didn't get any better than that.<BR><BR>Except that while all
the other kids' parents took them to see Bambi or Swiss Family Robinson (a
hideous film, by the way, in its racist, violent colonialism), MY folks took us
to see things like "Guess Who's Coming To Dinner?" that made us decidedly uncool
when our friends asked us what we got to see at the drive-in the night before .
