Tim Marsano says about 60 troops from Company A, 1-168 General Support Aviation Battalion will deploy Saturday, with the first stop scheduled for Ft. Hood, Texas. The unit is based at Gowen Field in Boise and includes pilots and support crew assigned to eight Black Hawk helicopters.</div><div><br></div><div>The crew will train and prepare in Texas for two months before starting a yearlong assignment in Afghanistan.
