They have phone books and city directories in Special Collections (not sure of the dates of each, as they're not cataloged). There's also the Sanborn Fire Insurance Maps, which show the location of buildings and their uses. They're available for Moscow from 1888 to 1950. There's an online version, but if you're not faculty/staff/student, it has to be used from an on-campus computer. <div style=""><span style="">I was wondering, does the Historical Society or the Chamber of Commerce have a list of all the businesses that have every been in Moscow? It would be interesting to see which businesses were where and when, who owned them, and what kind of store they were. I know the business my Grandfather started, <span id="yiv360488162misspell-0" class="yiv360488162mark">Tri</span>-State, had two other locations <span style="" id="yiv360488162misspell-1"><span>downtown</span></span> before its current location. </span></div>
