Ms. Fagan has concerns about the addition of sexual orientation and gender identity to those classes of people against whom it's illegal to discriminate? I'd love to hear why she believes her heterosexuality ought to be protected by law while good people who identify as transgendered, gay, or lesbian have legitimate cause to worry that they could lose their jobs or fail to find housing because of their identity.

Is her world made safer because, say, a lesbian couple might not be able to move into the rental house next to her? Is she worried that a gay man might bring her her dinner at a restaurant or fix her brakes? Is there reason for her to be concerned that the radiologist who takes her MRI could be transgender?

Because if so, that's truly scary. It would be nice if Pullman-area voters would discriminate against silly, bigoted people next time the vote comes up.

Keely
www.keely-prevailingwinds.com

Date: Sun, 15 Jan 2012 18:52:08 -0800
From: donovanjarnold2005@yahoo.com
To: moscowcares@moscow.com; vision2020@moscow.com
Subject: Re: [Vision2020] Human rights, half a century later

How is it possible, that Pullman, home of a major university, has an uneducated bigot, Rep.
