Patton Jr. for gen erations.<br><br>Now they can smell like him, thanks to “Patton,” a cologne officially licensed by the Army, according to Parfumologie, the prod uct’s designer.<br><br>“Patton” is one of five fragrances of “The American Line,” a set of colognes licensed by the military and inspired by soldiers, Marines, airmen, sailors and Coast Guards men, the designer says.<br><br>The other scents are the Marine Corps’ “Devil Dog,” Air Force’s “Stealth,” Navy’s “Liberty” and Coast Guard’s “Riptide.” Each service branch’s bottle bears</span><span class="abody" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 0.8em; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); "> its official colors and is emblazoned with official emblems.<br><br>The cologne is made in the U.S. and a per centage of proceeds is donated to the Veterans Administration and each service branch, according to the American Line website.<br><br>A 3.4-ounce bottle of “Patton” goes for $45 on The American Line website and starts at about $23 on <a href="http://Amazon.com/" style="text-decoration: underline; color: rgb(0, 0, 255); "><a href="http://Amazon.com">Amazon.com</a></a>.<br><br>“Patton” is a woodsy fragrance that defines masculinity — a “confident blend of sage, bergamot and cedar that elicits feelings of majestic woodlands and endless horizons,” the website says.<br><br>One review of the fragrance posted anony mously on Amazon says, “It has a back woods, masculine scent that evokes memo ries of LandNav courses and ruck marches (if you could add a hint of cordite, it’d be right on the spot). My girlfriend adores the smell, and a lot of people ask what it is when I wear it.” “Tried this fragrance,” another reads, “One splash increases the urge to pointlessly run laps, bark like a dog and sleep on rocks and in mud.
