Sunday, July 3 and 1 a.m. Monday, July 4<sup>th</sup> eight arson fires were reported to the police department. The fires were started in trash cans, dumpsters, and one portable outdoor restroom:<o:p></o:p></p>

</span></span></span>Moscow Volunteer Fire Department personnel located a burnt trash can inside the men’s restroom at Jim Lyle Rotary Park at 2:24 a.m. Monday morning. The plastic can was set on fire and had burned itself out prior to being found.<o:p></o:p></p>

</span></span></span>Moscow Parks and Recreational personnel located a metal trash can at the Joseph Street Ball Field had been set afire with the contents being destroyed on Tuesday morning, July 5. This arson was believed to have occurred at the
same time as the other seven. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify">Another arson fire was reported on Thursday morning July 7<sup>th</sup>, when Parks and Recreational personnel found that someone had put toilet paper inside the men’s toilet and set it on fire at Jim Lyle Rotary
Park. The toilet seat was damaged as a result of the fire. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify">Anyone observing suspicious activity or individuals around any of these arson fires at the times listed above is asked to contact the Moscow Police Department at 883-7054. For those who want to remain anonymous
the police department encourages information to be directed to the Tip Hotline at 208-892-3898.

reward of $1,000 for information which identifies the person or persons responsible for these serial arson crimes.
