Okay, I need to correct the record here. Apparently, this was all the result of some sort of really weird Facebook glitch. Please see this link for more information (and so I don't have to type out a lengthy explanation): https://www.facebook.com/#!/palouselibertyproject/posts/202392516448273?notif_t=share_reply
I agree that there is something ironic about a group called the Palouse Liberty Project that censors it's comments section, but I don't see any harm in preparing for disaster, even if you think the chances of the disaster actually happening are slim. There are lots of possible scenarios that could leave us without food shipments or electricity or with severe damage to house and home for an extended period. It's always best to be prepared, and I'm behind any kind of structure that enables a smooth transition during an actual disaster scenario without things falling into a kind of Mad Max movie script.
Of course, the same thing happened nationwide around the same time, which I found not only hilarious (the astroturfed movement got co-opted) but also telling in that groups espousing “liberty” find censorship of dissenting opinions appropriate just like good little fascists.
