</span></b><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">Mayor Nancy Chaney will host the 2<sup>nd</sup> in a series of Poverty on the Palouse Forums on February 16, 2011 in Council Chambers at Moscow City Hall at 4 p.m. This forum has been developed
to coordinate efforts to meet the needs of low income people in Moscow and the Palouse, in response to concerns expressed by service providers about their ability to meet increasing demands on their limited resources.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman","serif""><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">The first meeting of the forum group was held on December 15, 2010. At that meeting, all representatives generated compelling stories about trying to make ends meet--as agencies, volunteer
organizations, and for individuals and families directly affected by job loss, healthcare expenses, disability, economic recession, and other circumstances. Comments during and following the Poverty on the Palouse Forum demonstrated a clear need for improved
communication and coordination among service providers, and for more efficient ways for people who need help to find it.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
