<P style="MARGIN-LEFT: 5px">OROFINO - A Jan. 24 arraignment date has been set
for an Idaho Correctional Institution officer arrested Thursday for the
distribution of a controlled substance.<BR><BR>Lt. William Unger, 47, posted a
$10,000 bond late Thursday and was released from the Clearwater County Jail. He
was arrested at home without incident and charged with a felony of distribution
of a controlled substance in the community to a person under the age of 18,
according to a news release from the Clearwater County Sheriff's Office. The
investigation followed a request by the Idaho Department of Correction, where
Unger has worked since 1994.<BR><BR>Jeff Ray, Idaho Correctional Institution
public information officer, said he could not comment on Unger's arrest because
it is a personnel issue. Unger is currently on paid administrative leave pending
further review, Ray said.<BR></P></FONT></DIV></BODY></HTML>
