I'm not sure exactly what defines a "progressive" or any other much bandied about political label, but I do expect you are correct that the Republican party will indeed have a good, maybe great night. I also know that while I'm not nearly as politically active as I used to be, I will survive whatever the outcome. After all, I started my voting career voting for McGovern in 1972, and voting in Idaho ever since, it's been pretty much downhill from there. And I've been a Vandal sports fan since the 1950s, so I know about losing. I even know conservatives that are erstwhile, hopeful, generally disappointed Vandal fans. Builds character and all. As long as there is Pabst Blue Ribbon, life will continue to be good, everyone can shout at each other for the next two years, then rinse and repeat.<BR> <BR>
