For all of you folks in the Moscow area, please join other fellow freedom-travelers this Wednesday for a session on learning how to break down the barriers and get the answers and information you're entitled to know as a taxpayer.  

Where:  University of Idaho, 4th floor of the Commons in the Aurora Room
When:   7:00-8:30 pm
YOU have the right to ask how your governments operate and spend our money. Wayne Hoffman, a seasoned expert on asking government agencies for records and demanding government transparency, will explain the ins and outs of the state's public records law, what to ask for in a public records request and what to leave out, how to avoid long delays for documents and how to respond if your request for records is denied.  We'll also go over the state's open meetings law and discuss ways to hold elected officials accountable. 

The Idaho Freedom Foundation also is looking for people to play lead roles as government watchdogs in their communities and are willing to ask tough questions of elected officials.
