<DIV>Wanted to officially invite/remind all of you that Friends of the
Clearwater, Palouse group of the Sierra Club and citizens are co-sponsoring the
documentary H2oil at the Kenworthy Theatre in Moscow, Idaho on Wednesday August
18th. Doors open at 6:30pm, film begins at 7:00pm, and admission is free.</DIV>
<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Times New Roman" color=#000000>H2oil tells the story of the
destructive Tar Sands strip-mining occurring on the Boreal Forest in Alberta,
Canada and the social, ecological, economic and political consequences because
of it. We hope the film will educate the public even further about the Tar
Sands, and give added sentiment to deny permits for trucking oil processing rigs
up Rt 12.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Times New Roman" color=#000000><BR></FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Times New Roman" color=#000000>No need to RSVP but would love
to see any and all of you there. There will be a short ten minute introduction,
the film should be about 80 minutes, and there will be a 15-30 minute Q&A
session</FONT> afterwards. I am hoping someone will be willing to stand on the
stage with me during the Q & A session.</DIV>
<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV>We will be handing out free information about the Highway 12 proposal and
collecting signatures on the petition to deny permits at the theatre.</DIV>
<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV>The event is being advertised in the Moscow-Pullman Daily News, the
Lewiston Tribune, the Clearwater Progress, the Idaho County Free Press, the
University of Idaho's Argonaut, and the Lewis & Clark State College
Pathfinder, as well as KRFP Radio Free Moscow. Please spread the word
further.</DIV>
