<html><head><style type="text/css"></style></head><body><div style="font-family:times new roman,new york,times,serif;font-size:12pt"><div>The lengthy readers' comments in the <span style="font-style: italic;">Statesman </span>were also worth a read. Some of the themes:<br><br>1. High tech companies want to hire only people who meet their immediate needs.<br>2. Idaho tech companies aren't willing to pay the wage prevailing in other markets to attract out-of-state applicants..<br>3. Boise high-tech companies (Micron, H-P, etc.) have a reputation for outsourcing jobs to foreign countries.<br>4. There aren't enough jobs in the Boise area to provide other opportunities in case one's job is outsourced.<br>5. Recent technology graduates claim they can't get an interview with the complaining companies.<br>6. The legislature is exclusively focused on agriculture, forestry, ranching, and mining. They don't care about high tech.<br>7.
