To the best of the University’s understanding, no action arose from the<br>issues cited in the memo and the Tribune’s own article stated as much. The University itself took<br>the findings of the original CAMBR audit seriously and took actions in response to the findings,<br>which were not mentioned in the Tribune article. A communication about the audit and progress<br>taken was shared publicly in late 2006. CAMBR today is not the
entity of past years; the<br>infrastructure, accountability and integrity, policies and procedures are more robust and continue<br>to be refined."<br></div>
