Co-op Board Elections have Record Turnout<BR> <BR>Andrika Kuhle, Donal
Wilkinson, Kimberly Vincent, and Jamie Bentley were <BR>elected to the Moscow
Food Co-op Board of Directors for 2010. A total <BR>of seven candidates
sought four open board positions. In a record voter <BR>turnout, a total
of 653 Co-op members voted, including 604 who voted in <BR>the store from March
25 to April 4, and 49 who voted by absentee ballot. <BR>Nearly 3 times as many
Co-op members voted as in the previous election. <BR>Ballot counting ended about
midnight following the Co-op Spring Annual <BR>Meeting on Sunday, April
4.<BR> <BR>Almost 70% of voters cast their ballot for incumbent, Andrika
Kuhle, who <BR>has been serving on the board since her appointment in July
2009. Donal <BR>Wilkinson, who was running for a third term, and Kimberly
Vincent, <BR>currently the Board President, both received nearly 60% of the
votes. <BR>Each will serve a 3-year term on the board. Jamie Bently,
who was <BR>fourth, will serve a 1-year term.<BR> <BR> <BR>Candidate
