transportation department to prioritize funding to implement the improvement
projects. Corridors being studied include segments of U.S. 95 from the Adams

At the meetings, transportation department representatives and other study team
members will informally present information on existing corridor conditions,
traffic and accident volumes, environmental conditions, highlights of input
already gathered and some possible projects. Common issues already identified
include unsafe intersections, access control, insufficient lane capacity and
passing lane length, rockfall, congestion, drainage and wetland impacts,
limited sight distance, snow and ice removal, recreational access and wildlife
crashes.

Input received from these open houses will be added to input already received
and will be used to help develop the list of draft recommended improvements
which will be presented for public comment at a second round of open house
events later this summer.
