There was a garage band in my neighborhood growing up that only played one song really well, and that was "The Letter." There was a time when I even thought lead guitarist Frank Smith, son of Delores and Eugene, wrote it. But anyone who could wear a dead varmint on his head and still look that jaw-droppingly handsome would've gotten my attention, on the frontier or not.

Keely
www.keely-prevailingwinds.com

> Date: Fri, 19 Mar 2010 16:24:20 -0700
> From: thansen@moscow.com
> To: idahovandal1@live.com
> CC: vision2020@moscow.com
> Subject: Re: [Vision2020] Alex Chilton
>
> "The Letter" By The Box Tops
> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ftcTZSIZ-ts
>
> --------------
>
> On an equally sad note . . .
>
> Fess Parker, known for his portrayal of Daniel Boone and Davy Crockett
> during the 60s, died on Thursday (March 18, 2010).
