Co-op Will Double December Food Donations*<BR> <BR>During the month of
December, the Moscow Food Co-op is matching <BR>pound-for-pound all
non-perishable food donations dropped at the Co-op <BR>for distribution to local
food banks. By leaving food donations at the <BR>Co-op, the gift to the food
banks will be doubled.<BR>Food bank donations can include canned and packaged
foods (not frozen or <BR>refrigerated), toiletries, and laundry supplies.
Donations are accepted <BR>from any store and do not need to have been purchased
at the Co-op.<BR> <BR>Volunteers from the Unitarian Universalist Church of
the Palouse Social <BR>Action Committee will take Co-op food donations to area
food banks.<BR>The Moscow Food Co-op has installed a shelf for depositing the
donations <BR>of nonperishable foods. The shelf is by the front door on
the Deli side <BR>of the building and is clearly marked for food bank donations.
Donations <BR>of non-perishable food will be accepted there year
round.<BR> <BR>The Co-op is located at 121 East Fifth Street in downtown
