On a more serious note, I could easily look up tons of statistics to prove that nations with tight gun laws and low gun ownership (such as Denmark) have much lower crime statistics than we do. Many of these countries have ten times fewer people in their jails and prisons than we do.<BR>

In civilized countries people depend on their police force for protection, not on gun-toting citizens, whose in house weapons kill innocent children, bystanders, and spouses.<BR>

My overseas friends are shocked and amazed at America's obscene love affair with firearms.<BR>
