<div>I was surprised to read that Exxon/Mobil is planning to build a new oil refinery in Canada. Do you know where and when this refinery is to be built? I was under the impression after discussions with oil industry experts that using existing refineries in the US was cheaper than building new refineries in Canada.</div>

But last week,three federal agencies issued a final environment impact statement for a 13,000-barrel per day clean fuels <span class="" id="st" name="st">refinery</span> proposed by the Three Affiliated Tribes for a site near Makoti. The proposed <span class="" id="st" name="st">refinery</span> would process pre-refined <span class="" id="st" name="st">oil</span> from Canadian tar sands into gasoline, diesel, jet fuel and propane.<br>
