<H3>Get licks in on fleeting sundae</H3>
<P>College football: You can’t call him the Flavor of the Month – or even the
Flavor of the Week, exactly.</P>
<P>Dennis Erickson, who has done three tours on the Palouse as a head football
coach – two at Idaho and one at Washington State – returns again Saturday with
the Arizona State Sun Devils, the Cougars’ 2 p.m. homecoming opponent at
Martin Stadium. </P>
<P>To commemorate that, Ferdinand’s Ice Cream Shoppe on the WSU campus is
offering a special on the “Dennis Erickson Sundae.”</P>
<P>Well, sporadically offering.</P>
<P>“Here today, gone tomorrow,” comes the explanation from Ferdinand’s. “It’s
good, but you can’t rely on it to be around for
