Gee, I'm really relieved, knowing that yet another evangelical social action group, ministry, or para-church organization has identified a primary source of the societal, economic, environmental, and political disasters around us. Here we were, so many of us, fretting about the war, natural disasters, poverty and injustice, when it turns out that the true enemy of all that's good and decent is Pepsi. Imagine -- a business giving money to organizations that advocate for civil rights for gays and lesbians and another one that helps families deal with the emotional, spiritual, and familial aspects of a family member's homosexuality. You know, the kind of wise counsel and empathic support that just might keep a kid from committing suicide because his family couldn't accept his being gay.

Yes. They must be stopped. Not Pepsi, but the AFA, which has embarrassed the Church for far too long.

Keely
www.keely-prevailingwinds.com

From: london@moscow.com
To: vision2020@secure.fsr.com
Date: Tue, 6 Oct 2009 11:20:23 -0700
Subject: [Vision2020] time to drink more Pepsi?

as long as PepsiCo is advancing a lifestyle that is extremely unhealthy and
dangerous. "It's a medical fact that persons trapped in homosexuality are
statistically higher to experience shortened life spans, clinical depression,
drug and alcohol abuse, and life-ending diseases. Why can't PepsiCo
understand that is not a good cause to be supporting?"
PepsiCo gave $500,000 to Human Rights Campaign (HRC) and
another $500,000 to the Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays

workplace. HRC and PFLAG were major supporters of the efforts to defeat
Proposition 8 in California, which defined marriage as being between a man and a
woman. HRC gave $2.3 million to the effort to defeat Prop 8.
