not good news. But to be honest, if you read sites like ESPN on a
daily basis, as I do, you'll know that these things happen everywhere.
Every university, every football program, no exceptions. It recently
happened to a Boise State player, it's happened 8 miles away at WSU,
it's happened at the University of Washington, and the list goes on.
There are over 100 players on a Division 1 football team, between the
ages of 18-22, and the coaching staff can't watch over them 24/7.
Perhaps we should eliminate football. Perhaps we should eliminate
fraternities and sororities because of recent incidents.<br>

University of Idaho football player was arrested early Sunday morning
for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol and was also cited
for urinating in public.<br>
<br>
Moscow Assistant Police Chief David Duke said an officer observed
freshman tight end Clayton Homme, 18, of Kennewick urinating while
waiting in the drive-through line at Jack in the Box shortly before 3
a.m. Sunday.<br>
<br>
The officer then observed Homme get back behind the wheel of the
vehicle which eventually led to Homme’s arrest for the DUI.<br>
<br>
Homme pleaded not guilty at his arraignment at the Latah County
Courthouse on Monday and a pretrial hearing is set Oct. 13 at 2:30 p.m.<br>
<br>
The arrest came after the Vandals’ 31-29 win over Colorado State
University on Saturday evening.</span></div>
