<P style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in">Filmmaker Deborah Koons Garcia, whose late husband
Jerry Garcia was an original member of the Grateful Dead, and the Moscow
Food Co-op will present her film, “The Future of Food,” at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday,
September 23 at the Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre in downtown Moscow. Garcia
will be in Moscow to introduce the film and answer questions afterwards. She
will also be showing “Soil in Good Heart,” a short from her next film “In Good
Heart: Soil & the Mystery of Fertility.”</P>

<P style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in">Each month the Good Food Film Series, sponsored by
the Moscow Food Co-op, will feature an entertaining and thought-provoking film
followed by a potluck of finger foods, social time, and discussion. Doors open
at 6:30 p.m. Admission $6 general public, $4 Co-op members. Please bring finger
food to share afterwards.</P>

investigation into the disturbing truth behind the unlabeled, patented,
genetically engineered foods that have quietly filled U.S. grocery store shelves
for the past decade. The film also explores alternatives to large-scale
industrial agriculture, placing organic and sustainable agriculture as real
