Gates was not arrested "for attempting to enter his<br>

police stupidity had so much as a shred of validity, Gates would be talking<br>
civil suit and BHO wouldn't be working so hard to shovel out from under<br>
without coming flat out and admitting he was wrong. </blockquote><div><br>Being a dick to a cop isn't a crime. Being a stupid cop isn't a tort. Again: could you explain to me why, if the Gates arrest was a good arrest, the charge was thrown out the minute it arrived on some 25-year-old ADA's desk?<br>
