reference to Tom's post of Idaho code, the chopper doesn't have an "N" number
displayed, indicating that it is a military aircraft, and most likely
exempt from that statute.<BR> <BR>

me asking, what part of town do you live in? I’m in the north part of
town (Orchard Ave. area), and the flight directly over my house around 10:30
AM definitely wasn’t 500 feet up. As I mentioned, it didn’t clear my
neighbor’s evergreen by more than 50 feet max, and I seriously doubt there was
even that much clearance.</SPAN></P>

anything, including miltary training or scientific overflights for
water/snowmelt/snowpack studies.<BR>It doesn't look like the right type or
flight pattern for electrical transmission line inspection, nor would it be
right for scientific studies.<BR>My guess would be training flights of some
