The Crown liked to control everything. <br><br>So when they say, "infringed" they are talking about the federal government denying the states weapons to defend themselves. is violated by noise ordinances that abridge freedom of speech.<br><br>I would think the 1st Amend is equal to, if not more so, than the 2nd Amendment, though the 2nd does imply the necessity of Militias securing the free state.<br><br>It does seem if you can regulate freedom of speech, you can regulate guns.
