My company freaked out when it heard the news - albeit 9 months after the fact - that the economy had gone into recession. Like many others going into survival mode, they want to save on payroll by shutting down Memorial Day week, July 4th week, and Labor Day week, plus force us to take an additional 2 weeks of time off between April 1 and December 31 (Q2, Q3, and / or Q4). I'll I have to say is, 'Thank God that time frame covers the entire major league baseball season!'

For those of you who like to day trip to Seattle to catch the Mariners in action, Single Game Tickets went on sale this morning at www.seattlemariners.com and I've listed out all the M's day games below.

Also, since my my team has failed to ever win the World Series, I've decided that this season I'm becoming a free agent fan in order to guarantee a World Series Championship for me for 2009. Whichever team wins (even if it is the vehemently hated Los Angeles
Dodgers) that championship team will be 'my team'. As song goes, 'Don't Give Up Until You, Drink from the Silver Cup'. Of course, maybe they were referring to Hockey.

-Scott

Mariner's Home Day Games for 2009 (All times are PDT)

Tue Apr 14 3:40PM Angels at Mariners (Opening Day)
Sun Apr 19 1:10PM Tigers at Mariners
Thu Apr 23 3:40PM Devial Rays at Mariners
Sun May 03 1:10 PM Athletics at Mariners
Tue May 05 1:40 PM Rangers at Mariners
Sun May 17 1:10 PM Red Sox at Mariners
Sun May 24 1:10 PM Giants at Mariners
Sat Jun 06 1:10 PM Twins at Mariners
Sun Jun 07 1:10 PM Twins at
