As one who voted for President Obama, a couple of things. Some on the right insist on calling Obama voters "Obots", Mr. Obama himself as "The One", the "Obamessiah", etc. Claptrap. I simply preferred the Obama/Biden ticket to the McCain/Palin ticket. I was not, and am not, under any illusions that Barack Obama is "The One", that he is the picture of perfection, and will cure all the nation's and society's ills. Is he flawed? Sure. Will he do things I don't like? Undoubtedly. Will he do things that the Rush Limbaughs and Ann (shudder) Coulters of the world won't like? No duh. But he's not even been in office a week yet. Even I, being (apparently) evil in the eyes of Mr. Limbaugh and Ms. Coulter because of my moderately liberal leanings, was willing to give George W. Bush a chance this early in his first term.
