Three post a day limit is fine with me. I've been exceeding that dramatically in the last couple days and I promise the frequency of my posts will drop just as dramatically over the next few days. I think most posters are OK with the 3 per day limit and yet Tom, Donovan, and No Weatherman will continue to flood the list with a lot of posts that I suspect most folks like me simply just neither have the time nor the interest level to even open.

-Scott

> Date: Thu, 6 Nov 2008 19:30:16 -0800
> From: lfalen@turbonet.com
> To: jeanlivingston@turbonet.com; vision2020@moscow.com
> Subject: Re: [Vision2020] election is over
>
> Bruce
> I agree in principle with your comments. The three post thing has its pros and cons. Some people do post to much. On the other side of the equation when a debate is going on, it is some time desirable to reply to a post even though you have already exceeded three.
> Roger
> -----Original message-----
> From: "Bruce and Jean Livingston" jeanlivingston@turbonet.com
> Date: Thu, 06 Nov 2008 18:24:10 -0800
> To: vision2020@moscow.com
> Subject: [Vision2020] election is over
>
> > [I started to write this in response to Nick Gier's post about Sarah Palin. Anything in the way of "localizing" the conversation and making it more substantive would be a real plus for this forum.
> >
> > CAVEATS:
> > I realize that the forum is unmoderated, and that "censorship" is neither wanted nor possible.
> >
> > I also realize that events far away in the world may have implications and effects here, so the definition of "community" is necessarily imprecise.
> > Still, it would be nice to see our frequent posters make a concerted effort to abide by the generally accepted practice of limiting posts to three per day. Voluntary restraint, at least, is possible, and from my perspective, is something to which we could all aspire.
> >
> > Bruce Livingston
> >
>
> =======================================================
> List services made available by First Step Internet,
> serving the communities of the Palouse since 1994.
> http://www.fsr.net
> mailto:Vision2020@moscow.com
> =======================================================

Stay up to date on your PC, the Web, and your mobile phone with Windows Live Click here
