I'm sure the Dems will make a big mess with their consolidated power, just like the Republicans did. For some reason, neither party understands that they should govern from the center in order to keep their elected positions. My prediction (although this is an easy call) is that the Republican will sweep into Congress in 2010 and after that things will be very good until 2016 when the GOP will win back the White House and then proceed to choke once again (as both parties always do) controlling both the executive and legislation branches. The one thing I am looking forward to is some Obama appointments to the Supreme Court. Right now, there are 7 Republican appointees to 2 Democratic appointees (yeah, yeah, yeah, they're all supposed to be non-partison).<br><br>Also, I tip my hat to John McCain.
