Why was Obama reluctant to release his (certified copy) birth certificate? He has released it, and with alacrity, but for the sake of argument, here's my answer: <br><br>For the same reason any of us would be -- the question is so mind-boggling irrelevant and transparently disingenuous that to dignify it with a response is simply to play into a game that dishonors those who involve themselves in it.<br><br>Put another way, he had nothing to lose in posting it and at the same time nothing to gain by doing so.
