Food Co-op’s Pumpkin Weight Guessing Contest and Great <BR>Pumpkin Bake Sale
will Support Local Non-Profit*<BR> <BR>Community members are invited to
participate in the Moscow Food Co-op’s <BR>Giant Pumpkin Weight Guessing Contest
through the end of October. The <BR>giant pumpkin is on display at the
Co-op. The winner will receive a <BR>gift basket filled with delicious
produce from the Co-op’s produce <BR>department.<BR> <BR>Starting in
November, the giant pumpkin will be made in to nearly 100 <BR>pies for sale to
shoppers through the Thanksgiving holiday. All the the <BR>proceeds will go to
Backyard Harvest, a local non-profit, thanks to a <BR>generous anonymous donor
whose gift will pay for the other pie ingredients.<BR> <BR>Backyard Harvest
donates hundreds of pounds of produce annually to local <BR>food banks and
